Australia's Vanadium Resources gains on S.African govt nod for higher project stake

** Shares of Vanadium Resources Ltd  VR8.AX  rise as much as
5.1% to A$0.082, their highest level since Nov 19
    ** The mineral explorer says it has got approval from the
South African govt to receive transfer of a 23.95% stake in 
Steelpoortdrift vanadium project  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nFWN2TY1AP
    ** Co says govt approval will result in an increase in its
stake in project to 73.95%
    ** About 3,601,365 shares change hands, about 8 times more
compared with the 30-day average volume of 443,980 shares 
    ** Stock sees best intraday session since Dec 31
    ** Shares more than doubled in 2021
