Feb 3 (Reuters) - Brasil's Moreira Salles family
confirmed its interest in a takeover bid for French glass
packaging producer Verallia VRLA.PA , the family's office said
on Monday.
The potential take-private bid was first reported by
Bloomberg on Friday.
BW Gestão de Investimentos (BWGI) expects to offer 30 euros
($30.73) per share for the stake in Verallia it does not own,
including 2024 dividends, it said in a statement, adding it does
not plan to delist the group.
The Paris-listed stock was up 11.1% as of Friday's close, to
29.8 euros.
BWGI owns around 28.8% of Verallia's capital, and 27.9% of
its voting rights, the statement said.
