Orsted jumps after US court clears Rhode Island wind project

** Shares in Orsted ORSTED.CO jump 9% after a U.S. court ruling cleared the way to resume work on its nearly completed Revolution Wind project off the Rhode Island coast

** JPMorgan says in a note the ruling reduces Orsted's immediate losses from the halt and highlights U.S. courts' readiness to issue protective measures

** "While the best news would be the cancellation of the stop work order and the re-start of the works on a permanent basis, this is still clearly good news in our view," the broker adds

** Shares of Orsted are among top performers on STOXX 600 index .STOXX and on track for a best day since May

** Shares of Danish wind turbine maker Vestas VWS.CO and its German peer Nordex NDXG.DE are up between 2.5% and 3.6%

** Siemens Energy ENR1n.DE is also up around 2.5%
