Australia's VHM hits over 1-year high on US EXIM funding

** Shares of VHM VHM.AX rise 19.6% to A$0.55, their highest level since September 2024

**  Mineral sands and rare earth co receives updated letter of interest from the U.S. EXIM for up to $200 million in funding for development of its Goschen rare earths and mineral sands project in Australia

** Also gets letter of support from Export Finance Australia for the provision of up to A$75 million ($48.73 million) funding

** Stock earlier rose as much as 30.4%

** VHM up 33.3% YTD
