Australia's Viking Mines rises on progress to battery project farm-in

** Shares of Viking Mines VKA.AX rise as much as 11.1% to
A$0.01, their best intraday gain since Nov. 30
** Says it completed the due diligence to its satisfaction
at the Canegrass Battery Minerals project owned by a unit of
Flinders Mines Ltd FMS.AX , and will now progress towards
acquiring stake in the project
** Says it also found mineralisation of vanadiferous
titanomagnetite extensively throughout the project, and outside
of the estimated resource limits
** FMS also up 2.5% to A$0.415, highest level since Dec. 12,
2022
** VKA stock lost 33.3% in 2022
