CREDIT AGRICOLE CAGR.PA
The French bank Credit Agricole posted better-than-expected second-quarter earnings on Friday, driven by growth across its retail, asset management and investment banking businesses. Net income attributable to shareholders inched up 1.4% year-on-year to €2.05 billion ($2.36 billion), excluding a one-off gain booked a year earlier, beating a company-compiled analyst consensus of around €1.9 billion.
EURONEXT ENX.PA:
Pan-European exchange operator Euronext reported second-quarter adjusted EBITDA of €360 million, beating forecasts of €333 million, as growth across all businesses and diversification reduced reliance on market volatility, with non-volume revenue accounting for 58% of total revenues.
SAINT-GOBAIN SGOB.PA:
French building materials group Saint-Gobain reported first-half sales of €23.595 billion with recurring net income of €1.68 billion and free cash flow of €2.11 billion, posting organic sales growth of 3.5% in the second quarter, and confirmed its 2026 outlook.
TP TEPRF.PA:
French outsourcing firm TP reported first-half revenue of €4.88 billion, down 1.7% on a like-for-like basis, with growth in AI-powered and back-office services partly offsetting weakness in trust and safety operations, and confirmed its 2026 targets.
UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP UMG.AS:
World's largest music company Universal Music Group reported second-quarter revenue of €3.29 billion, up 13.3% year-on-year at constant exchange rates, driven by the consolidation of Downtown Music and higher streaming prices, though net profit fell 85% to €222 million.
VIRIDIEN SA VIRI.PA:
Geoscience company Viridien reported second-quarter revenue of $232 million and a net loss of $26 million, while confirming its 2026 objective of generating $100 million in net cash flow.
WORLDLINE WLN.PA:
French digital payments group Worldline cut its 2026 revenue growth forecast to "flat to marginally positive" from "low single-digit growth", citing delays in banks awarding contracts following the company's recent setbacks, though its first-half adjusted EBITDA of €294 million was higher than the €273 million expectation.
