** Shares in Viridien VIRI.PA fall 15% to the bottom of France's SBF 120 .SBF120 after the French geoscience company posted Q1 results below expectations
** Quarterly revenue and EBITDA came in at $214 million dollars and $76 million, missing a company-compiled consensus by 25% and 38% respectively
** Bernstein analyst Guillaume Delaby views the results as a significant disappointment: "It is a company that is indebted and has historically disappointed a lot"
** He also says Viridien had already flagged a weak Q1 before the Iran war, but March turned out even softer than expected and was further hit by the conflict
** Shares on track for their worst day since August 2025
