Australia's Viva Energy loses most in one month as convenience sales slump

** Shares of Australia's Viva Energy Group VEA.AX fall as much as 3% to A$1.79, their biggest intraday pct loss since September 22

   ** The retail convenience and fuel network operator says group's third-quarter convenience sales came in at A$392 million ($254.72 million), down from A$448 million in pcp

** Says refining intake for the quarter was 7.8 MBBL, down 23% on pcp, reflecting  maintenance measures

** Flags declines in tobacco sales compared with Q2, due to packaging law changes, annual store level wage cost inflation, among other reasons

** Stock last down 1.6%, extending YTD losses to 31%

($1 = 1.5389 Australian dollars)
