** Oil prices extended their decline on Tuesday, with Brent futures LCOc1 hitting near four-month lows, as tanker traffic picked up through the Strait of Hormuz, and Oman and Iran continued talks on administering navigation O/R
** Major oil producers Santos STO.AX and Woodside Energy WDS.AX fall 1% and 1.8%, respectively
** Refiner Viva Energy VEA.AX falls 2.9% after closing 2.4% lower in the previous session
** Co said on Tuesday its alkylation unit would remain offline and that its Geelong refinery was expected to return to more than 90% capacity this week
** Sub-index up 13.5% so far this year, with most gains concentrated in March - the first month in the U.S.-Iran war
