ZURICH, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Swiss bank Vontobel VONN.S on Thursday reported net new money of 1.9 billion Swiss francs ($2.3 billion) in the first nine months of 2026 as outflows in the institutional clients segment persisted.
Assets under management climbed to 255.1 billion Swiss francs, driven by market performance and foreign exchange effects but falling short of a Zuercher Kantonalbank forecast of 260 billion francs
The institutional clients segment saw outflows of 2.0 billion francs in the first nine months, all of which in the third quarter, prolonging a string of withdrawals by institutional investors last year
Vontobel's private client segment posted net inflows of 3.8 billion francs in the first nine months, of which 1.3 billion francs in the third quarter
