** Shares of Vulcan Energy Resources  VUL.AX  rise as much
as 4.1% to A$4.29, hitting their highest since June 20
    ** The lithium-focussed miner says it has promoted its
Deputy CEO Cris Moreno as top boss
    ** Says Moreno will succeed Francis Wedin, who will move to
the role of executive chairman after serving as co's CEO since
2019
    ** Says changes in line with corporate development as co
"transitions from development phase to the execution phase of
the Zero Carbon lithium project"
    ** Stock down 34.9% YTD, as of last close
