Wall Street's main stock indexes advanced on Tuesday as upbeat forecasts from
Verizon, Coca-Cola and others boosted optimism about corporate America's health
in the face of a slowing economy and higher inflation. .N 
    At 13:20 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.31% at
33,038.72. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.28% at 4,228.94 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.33% at 13,061.434.
