Wall Street's main indexes were flat on Tuesday, pressured by a rise in Treasury bond yields as President Donald Trump's decision to fire a central bank governor renewed concerns about the Federal Reserve's independence. .N

At  13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.07% at 45,315.19. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.15% at 6,448.87, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.21% at 21,493.52.
