** Shares of WAM Microcap WMI.AX rise as much as 3.1% to A$1.645, their highest level mid-April, 2023

** Stock marks its biggest intra-day pct gain since August 15

** Investment co reports 27.4% rise in full-year net profit after tax at A$43.6 million ($28.24 million)

** FY revenue from ordinary activities up 20.9% y/y at A$69.4 mln

** Declares final dividend of 5.3 Australian cents per share, payable on October 29

** Including current session's move, stock up 12% YTD
