    ** Diversified mineral explorer receives commitment to raise
A$5 mln ($3.26 mln) at A$0.25 per share
    ** Says funds will be used to advance drilling at Spur gold
project of New South Wales, Australia
    ** Says issue price at 7.4% discount to stock's last close
    ** Stock hits its highest level since July 30
    ** Stock had more than doubled in value this year, as of
last close
