July 29 (Reuters) - Italy's largest construction company Webuild WBD.MI on Wednesday said it expects revenue in 2026 to exceed the 2025 figure of €13.6 billion ($15.58 billion).
Earlier this year, the company reported an 18% rise in its 2025 core profit, but disappointing 2026 revenue guidance caused its stock to fall as much as 10.4% on the day. It had then said it expects 2026 revenues in line with 2025 levels.
Webuild on Wednesday said it expects earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) exceeding €1.2 billion for the 2026 financial year. It also reported first-half revenues of €6.65 billion and core profit of €673 million.
Separately, the firm disclosed an offer of €4.50 per share in cash for all shares of Italy's Trevi TFI.MI.
The deal values Trevi at €295 million, Webuild said, adding that the deal would generate estimated synergies of approximately €80–90 million in annual EBITDA.
Webuild's rival ICoP had in June launched a bid to acquire Trevi.
In the first half of 2026, Webuild's total order backlog stood at €53.7 billion, the firm said. Total new orders acquired in 2026 amounted to €7.7 billion, the Italian construction firm said.
