Australia's West African Resources hits 6-week high as gold output rises q/q
** Shares of West African Resources WAF.AX rise 1.7% to
A$1.6675, their highest level since Dec. 12
** Gold miner posts a rise in fourth-quarter bullion
production compared with the previous three-month period
** Q4 output 51,178 oz at all-in-sustaining cost (AISC) of
$1,216/oz, compared with Q3 output of 47,799 oz at AISC of
$1,296/oz
** Co achieved full-year production guidance of 206,622 oz
** Stock rose 51.9% in 2024
