West African Resources tops losses on Aussie benchmark after weak guidance

** Shares of Australia's West African Resources  WAF.AX 
slump as much as 15.4% to A$0.795, set for biggest daily loss
since Jan 25, 2022, if current trend holds 
    ** WAF top loser on benchmark index  .AXJO , which has
dipped 0.5% so far 
    ** The gold miner said it expects gold production of 190,000
- 210,000 ounces (oz) in 2024, below 226,823 oz reported in 2023
    ** Sees all-in sustaining cost of less than $1,300 per ounce
in 2024, higher than $1,126/oz in 2023 
    ** WAF hits lowest level since Nov 21
    ** Stock down 0.5% this year,\ as of last close
