** Shares of Westar Resources WSR.AX rise as much as 27.1%
to A$0.061, their highest since June 27
** Mineral explorer says it has hit high-grade gold from
maiden drilling at its Olga Rocks project in Western Australia
** Says program delivered significant gold assays including
one three-metre-wide gold hit at a grade of 7.5 g/t gold from 57
metres
** Says lithium assays are pending
** As of last close, stock down 4% so far this year
