acquire cybersecurity startup Wiz for roughly $23 billion.
    
    - Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk and hedge-fund manager
Bill Ackman formally threw their support behind Donald Trump in
the wake of Saturday's assassination attempt, endorsing him for
president in the upcoming U.S. election. 
    
    - WH Group  0288.HK , the world's largest pork-producing
company by sales, said Sunday it plans to float Smithfield's
business in the U.S. and Mexico on the New York Stock Exchange
or Nasdaq.  
    
    - Global smartphone shipments by Apple  AAPL.O  and Samsung
Electronics  005930.KS  rose in the second quarter, according to
research firm International Data Corp's data on Monday. 
        
  
        - American actor Shannen Doherty, best known for her
role as high school student Brenda Walsh on the hit 1990s
