    ** The mineral explorer says it acquired Victoria Copper Ltd
    ** Acquisition brings co a 100% ownership of exploration
license in Rae copper region in Canada, currently owned by
Victoria Copper
    ** Stock posts biggest intraday gain since Nov 21
    ** WCN stock up 2.5% YTD, as of 0207 GMT
