** Shares of Auric Mining AWJ.AX rise 3.1% to A$0.165, its biggest pct. gain since June 13

** Shares earlier rose 12.5%, which is its highest intraday pct. jump since May 23

** The miner will buy a package of assets from WIN Metals WIN.AX for A$1.4 million ($919,380.00)

** Assets include mining camp, nickel and associated mineral rights, and water access rights

** Shares down 51.5% YTD
