** Shares of Widgie Nickel  WIN.AX  rise as much as 18% to
A$0.105, their biggest intraday gain since Dec. 18
    ** Stock hits its highest level since Dec. 20
    ** Nickel explorer says total mineral resource has grown to
189,300 tonnes of contained nickel at co's Mt Edwards Project in
Western Australia
    ** Reports a 75% increase in total contained nickel versus
the 2023 Mineral Resource Estimate for Gillett nickel deposit at
project
    ** Stock had fallen 71.8% last year
