** Shares of uranium explorer Valor Resources Ltd  VAL.AX 
gain as much as 12.5% to A$0.009, their highest since Aug. 1 
    ** Co announces significant uranium and copper
mineralisation at Surprise Creek project in northern

    ** Says 36 samples were collected from the uranium and
copper occurrences, with assay results expected in about four
weeks 
    ** More than 5.3 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of about 3.1 mln shares
