** Shares of mineral explorer Valor Resources  VAL.AX  gain
as much as 28.6% to A$0.009, marks best day since September,
2021 if gains hold 
    ** Says rock chip samples from new copper targets at the
co's Picha Project and Charaque Project, Peru returned with

    ** Adds that phase one of the 5,000 meter maiden diamond
drilling program to commence in Sept quarter  
    ** More than 14 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of about 8 mln shares
