Australia's XRF Scientific rises on strong Q1 profit growth

** Mining equipment maker XRF Scientific Ltd  XRF.AX  rises
as much as 3.2% to A$0.32
    ** Co says its Q1 FY21 statutory profit before tax increased
75% to A$1.6 mln ($1.14 mln) from previous year  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nFWN2HD1J8
    * XRF says its Q1 revenue was A$7.5 mln versus A$7.4 mln in
the previous corresponding period
    ** Co says its precious metals division has seen improved
levels of activity from international customers in Europe, the
Americas and parts of Asia
    ** XRF up 34.8% this year, as of last close
($1 = 1.4047 Australian dollars)
