U.S. stock index futures traded lower on Tuesday as caution prevailed ahead of a
slew of economic data reports due through the week that could influence the
extent of monetary policy easing by the Federal Reserve this year.  .N 
    
    At 7:39 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.48% at 41,453. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were down 0.48% at 5,634, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were down 0.62%
at 19,502.
