** Gold miner set for best session since October 21, 2024

** Co says initial drilling results in its Arrakis gold project in Western Australia indicate a large-scale target for gold discovery

** YRL rose as much as 92.3% to A$0.175 earlier in session

** Around 914,392 shares change hands, over 4x the 30-day average trading volume of about 231,394

** YTD, stock down 8.6%, including session gains
