Have always played the markets, and became my new career in 2010. Fortunate to have secure financial position outside of investing, so able to adopt higher risk strategies.

Started really well, got over confident, had a couple of bad years, handed over to professional managed service, sacked them and took it back, now back in the chair full time.

Trying hard to be balanced, but am inherently a gambler and love playing contrarian risks. Have tried all sorts to apply rigour and discipline but fail to abide by rules.

Big fan of diversification and broad portfolio, and have moved into unlisted EIS qualifying investments now alongside mainstream.
