Biography
Male, born in 1944. A saver who abandoned high interest cash accounts for equities when the bottom fell out of the interest rate. My mother's investment plan was to turn over the silver coins in her purse at the full moon, hence my moniker. A 2024 update spurred by Peter T, the mists of time obscuring the facts as always, it may have been on the New Moon when my mother turned the silver coin over in her purse so that it might wax with the Moon, which is more than likely. There is something else remembered only too well, that is when mum put all the family savings on a postal order and bet it on the Irish Sweep Stakes, losing the lot of course. Young kids like me should never have been exposed to the recriminations that followed. Heigh ho, much water under the bridge has passed since.
