The QVGM Rank is an equally weighted combination of Stockopedia's QualityRank, ValueRank, GrowthRank and MomentumRank. These four basic ranks are computed for every company in the market on a daily basis, summed and then re-ranked as a percentile from 0 (worst) to 100 (best).
The QVGM Rank was an early iteration of the Stockopedia StockRank.
Further analysis and testing brought a clearer realisation that the Growth Rank was correlated with the Quality and Momentum Ranks and did not add extra value.
The “G” factor was dropped in favour of a simpler QVM approach.
The QVGM Rank is still tracked and has performed admirably well, but has slightly underperformed the QVM StockRank rank.
