India's Adani Enterprises rises as quarterly profit surges

** Shares of Adani Enterprises ADEL.NS up 3.2% at 2,559 rupees vs 0.5% rise in Nifty 50 .NSEI  
** Billionaire Gautam Adani-led conglomerate reported more than two-fold rise in quarterly adjusted profit; rev from ops rose about 75%
** Co's copper business, which contributes nearly 40% of revenue, jumped multifold to 147.72 billion rupees
** Jefferies ("Buy"; PT: 2,490 rupees) says co's EBITDA beat its estimates while copper benefited from higher capital utilisation and by-product pricing
** Raises FY27 EBITDA by nearly 4%
** YTD, stock up around 14% vs 12.6% fall in .NSEI
