** Shares of Altair Minerals ALR.AX rise as much as 31.7% to A$0.054, their highest level since February 25, 2021

** Stock posts its largest intraday pct jump since early August 2025

** The diversified miner receives firm commitments to raise A$28.2 million ($20.19 million) via a placement

** The placement issue price at A$0.043, a 4.9% premium to stock's last close

** Says funds will be used to accelerate co's drilling programs among others

** More than 57.7 million shares change hands, 3.7 times the 30-day average

** Stock up 92% YTD, including the day's moves
