Challenging market conditions have resulted in fewer fund raises on AIM this year. This, combined with increased difficulty for companies seeking approval to raise VCT/EIS funding, has meant we have seen a reduction in suitable qualifying investment opportunities for the Company with only £3.7m so far invested in the second half. For this reason and having disposed of a number of qualifying holdings over the last 18 months the Board is choosing to accelerate the timing of dividend payments this year via the declaration of a second interim dividend. The dividend will be paid on 12 January 2024 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 8 December 2023. The ex-dividend date will be 7 December 2023.
