May 9 (Reuters) - Anest Iwata Corp  6381.T   
    * Says it will acquire 3,500 shares of a Taiwan-based 
company, which is engaged in machine manufacturing business, for 
422,800 TWD 
    * Says it will acquire 3.15 million shares of a China-based 
company, which is engaged in manufacturing and sales of 
compressors 
    * Says the co to increase stake in Taiwan-based company to 
50.1 percent from 50 percent and transfer it into a consolidated 
subsidiary 
    * Says the co to increase stake in China-based company to 65 
percent from 35 percent 
    * Says effective May 20
