Results of Annual General Meeting ("AGM") and Board Changes
The Board of Aquila is pleased to announce that at the Company's AGM held yesterday, all resolutions tabled were duly passed.
Accordingly, as previously announced Susan Kane, the Group's Finance Director is stepping back from her Group commitments  and will retire fully from September 2019 fully supportive of the Group's plans for the future she remains a major shareholder retaining her 3,279,440 shares. The Chair, Derek Joseph, on behalf of himself and his fellow board members expressed their gratitude to Susan for all her contribution to the Group's success as one of the founding partners in 2011.
Claire Banks, current Head of Finance and Corporate Resources has been appointed as Group Finance Director and Company Secretary. Ms. Banks is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and has significant accounting, finance and corporate experience within the consulting sector. She is also registered with the FCA and is the Compliance Officer for Aquila Treasury and Finance Solutions Ltd.  She has led on several acquisitions and has substantial experience in leading specialist and diverse teams and building and developing successful businesses.  She also has extensive experience of operating at director level within finance and corporate services.  During her eight years with the Group she has gained a deep knowledge of the Group its subsidiaries and its markets and her appointment ensures strong continuity of the Group's Board and leadership teams.

Mrs. Banks presently holds 48,315 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 0.14% of the Company's issued share capital. She also holds an option over 77,315 ordinary shares.
