** Shares of Australia's Ark Mines  AHK.AX rises 9.2% to A$0.415, set for their strongest session since January 14, if the trend holds

** Battery minerals explorer is granted a mining license by the Queensland Government for an area in the Sandy Mitchell rare earths and heavy minerals project in North Queensland

** The designated area contains the company’s measured mineral resource estimate of monazite equivalent material at Sandy Mitchell, and the license is key to the project's development

** YTD, stock down more than 23%
