Ausquest soars on extending base metals exploration deal with South32

** Nickel-copper explorer Ausquest Ltd AQD.AX jumps as
much as 23.3% to A$0.019, their biggest intraday pct jump since
August 2020
** Says https://bit.ly/31Zd4zj co and diversified miner
South32 Ltd S32.AX extend their deal for a further two years
to continue developing high-potential exploration sites in
Australia and abroad
** Adds that targeted projects include copper, zinc and
nickel projects in Australia and Peru
** AQD to continue to manage initial programs in
consultation with S32
** Under agreed JV terms, S32 to contribute total $4.5 mln
to earn a 70% JV stake
** More than 3.1 mln AQD shares change hands, vs the 30-day
average of 1.3 mln shares
** AQD hits highest since Oct. 20; S32 falls as much as 1.7%
to A$3.44
