** The mineral explorer receives commitments to raise A$10 million ($6.61 million) via placement

** Issue price of A$0.047, representing 17.5% discount to its last close

** About 6.4 million shares change hands, 2.4x the 30-day average

** YTD, stock up 587.5%, including the day's move
