Dec 26 (Reuters) - Bando Chemical Industries Ltd 5195.T :
* Says its wholly owned Osaka-based unit plans to merge with
its wholly owned Tokyo-based unit, effective on April 1, 2017
* Says the two unit are both mainly engaged in processing
and sale of drive belt products, transport belts and
polyurethane functional parts
* The Tokyo-based unit will be dissolved after the
transaction
