U.S. Cash Grains-Processor bids for soybeans mixed

CHICAGO, March 7 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for
soybeans were mixed at U.S. Midwest processors early on Tuesday,
dealers said.
    * The soybean basis was steady to weak at interior elevators
and unchanged at river terminals.
    * Cash bids for corn were firm at the region's ethanol
plants and grain elevators but flat at processors and river
terminals.
    * Country movement of both commodities was slow on Tuesday.
    * Growers had booked sales at higher prices and were waiting
to see if prices rallied back to those levels before committing
to new deals.
    * Farmers also were waiting to see price moves following the
release of the U.S. Agriculture Department's monthly supply and
demand report on Wednesday.
