** Shares of Balkan Mining and Minerals Ltd  BMM.AX  jump as
much as 11% to A$0.495, their highest since Jan 20
    ** Lithium miner says initial studies of its Corvette North
and Corvette Northwest lithium projects in Quebec, Canada, have
been completed
    ** Says Corvette North and Corvette Northwest are situated
10-15 kilometres from Patriot Battery Metals Inc  PMET.V 
Corvette project, which recently reported lithium find  
    ** Corvette North and Corvette Northwest are close to power,
roads and numerous airports - Balkan Mining 
    ** More than 192,327 shares change hands, twice the 30-day
avg volume 
    ** BMM stock up 35% this year, as of last close
