BP CEO denies breakup talks after media report
BP CEO denies breakup talks after media report LONDON, Oct 30 (Reuters) - BP BP.L CEO Meg O'Neill on Friday categorically denied that there have been conversations about breaking up the British major.
The comments come after a Semafor media report this week said some BP board members are in favour of a breakup of the company, citing people familiar with the matter. O'Neill said discussions she has had with the board about the strategic direction of the group reaffirm the imperative of having an integrated oil and gas company.
