Romania's National Statistics Board to release March average

INTEREST RATES
Romania's central bank surprised markets by shaving another
quarter point off its benchmark interest rate ROINTR=ECI to a
new record low on Wednesday, as a cut in value added tax next

Romania's ruling Social Democrat party (PSD) will seal a new
partnership with a junior ally on Thursday, looking to secure

on Wednesday its first quarter consolidated net profit was 2.9

Romania's state-owned nuclear power producer
Nuclearelectrica ROSNN.BX said on Wednesday it will shut down
its second reactor at midnight on May 8 for routine maintenance

Central European currencies should recover soon from their
