** Shares of Chilwa Minerals CHW.AX fall as much as 5% to A$1.055, marking their biggest intraday pct loss since July 14

** Mineral explorer says it will raise A$4.1 million ($2.66 million) via placement at an issue price of A$1.05 apiece

** Says issue price is at a 5.4% discount to stock's last close

** Stock up 42.7% this year, including the day's move
