TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 23 September 2014 it transferred 603ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 547 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 1,724,357of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 148,899,936ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
