TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 7 January 2015 it transferred 1,974ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was547 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 1,217,346of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 149,406,947ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
