TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 15 March 2016 it transferred 294 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 672 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 832,696 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 149,811,032 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
