TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 12 April 2016 it transferred 516 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 590 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 738,431 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 149,905,297 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
