TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 15 April 2016 it transferred 9,781 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was nil pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 728,650 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 149,915,078 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
